GEI Inc. was established in 1997 to fill a growing need in an industry that was not being fully served with speed, accuracy, and the ability to provide customized parts with quick turn-around times.  Since its founding, the company has grown into one of the premier suppliers and manufacturers of electronic components in North America.

GEI Inc.’s staff is a diverse and extremely dedicated group that is always striving to provide the best customer service. Company employees work out of the headquarters in Diamond Bar, California as well a satellite offices in Thailand and China with more coming in the future.

GEI’s unique setup as an American-based company gives it a unique advantage in the marketplace. Customer service is much easier with an American contact always an easy phone call or email away. Yet, with its factories located in China, GEI keeps costs low. GEI is also an officially registered minority-owned business with the Southern California Minority Business Development Council, Inc.

GEI’s manufacturing plants are mostly located in or near Shenzhen in the People’s Republic of China very close to Hong Kong. Our factories are kept up to modern standards and have many certifications and awards. Each facility has passed stringent audits by some of the biggest and best-known companies in the world. To list just a few, this includes United Technologies’ Carrier Corporation, General Electric, Rheem Manufacturing Company, Genie, 4moms, Snap-on Tools, and Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL).
